At Sunrise Springs, horticulture activities are offered in our restorative and vibrant gardens, greenhouse and classroom. Spending time outside in a garden has been shown to positively affect a person’s emotions and improve their sense of wellbeing.

Classes include:

  • Gardening techniques and planting basics
  • Engage the senses in the greenhouse
  • Create your own herbal first aid kit
  • Herbal tea making
  • Herbal salves, lip balms and lotions
